We are located at the Caryl Community Center in the Center of Dover, Massachusetts. We are a 10 month program which operates from September through June. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:15 - 5:30 pm. We offer a variety of enrollment options to meet individual scheduling needs.

The Child Development Center was first opened in 1986 under the auspices of Community Education Department of the Dover-Sherborn Regional School System. As of September 1, 2010 the center has become its own entity, run by a board of directors and licensed through the Department of Early Education and Care. The only thing to change is our name. We are now known as The Center for the Development of Children. (Yes, we are still the CDC!) We are a not-for-profit organization which does not discriminate on the basis of a child's sex, religion, race, national origin or toilet training abilities.
