Our first priority is to try to accommodate Dover residents within each schedule
group.  We will consider parents of children who are currently enrolled to 6:00
pm and are requesting additional days until 6:00 pm.  If requests cannot be met,
a lottery will be held and a waitlist developed.  Then we will consider parents
of children who are requesting additional space until 3:30 pm.  If requests for
this schedule can't be met, a lottery will be held and a waitlist developed. 
Families requesting additional days until 12:15 pm will then be considered and 
a lottery will be held and a waitlist developed.  If families request schedule 
reductions or changes after they have signed their commitment forms, the requests
will be considered in conjunction with the prioritized waitlists.

A one-time application fee of $50.00 for new families and $25 for new siblings of
current children is assessed.  This fee is non-refundable, but will keep a child's
name on the waiting list for that year.  Although families must re-submit 
applications each year, no further application fee is assessed.

New Families may call the Child Development Center to receive an application packet
after December 1.   This will include a form for the following school year, 
instructions and deadlines.  Applications, received before the stated deadline, from
Dover parents will be given priority.

There are three schedule options for each classroom:  (1) 8:45 - 12:15, (2) 8:45 -
3:30 and (3) 8:45 - 6:00.  An early morning drop off is also available to those 
families requiring earlier start times.  A lottery will be held when an opening 
exists for a schedule option in a particular class.  Once a time slot is filled to 
capacity a waitlist will be maintained for that schedule option in that classroom.
If, and when, openings occur throughout the year, we will refer to our prioritized
waitlists to offer open spaces.  Waitlists are valid for ONE SCHOOL YEAR only.
